Lost & Found Films is a Brooklyn-based production company that creates character-driven documentaries that explore the overlooked and the nearly forgotten— the quiet beauty, wisdom, and nuance hiding in plain sight. We’re drawn to slowing things down, making space to breathe and see what’s truly there—the stories and little details that often slip by in the rush of everyday life.

Founded in 2009, Lost & Found crafts visually grounded, emotionally resonant documentaries and commercials. We collaborate with brands, broadcasters, ad agencies, and NGOs.

Our films have premiered at major festivals, including In Transit—co-directed with acclaimed filmmaker Albert Maysles—which won the Special Jury Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival. Most recently, our feature documentary Been Here Stay Here had its world premiere at IDFA.

Our clients have included The New York Times, The New Yorker, Wired, The Atlantic, Wallpaper, Food & Wine, VICE, and GOOD. On the commercial side, we’ve produced campaigns for Sony, Pepsi, Nike, Lexus, MoMA, Spotify, Mercedes-Benz, Sotheby’s, Chase, Martha Stewart Living, and the Obama 2012 Campaign.
